Thirteen hours until the polls open. Thirteen short hours. Tomorrow is election day, November 4 2008. It is the day before one of the most historic events in the United States. Any constant reader of this blog knows how many years I have YEARNED for this day to come. I can hardly believe its here.
Let's all keep our fingers, toes, legs, arms, and eyes crossed that it's a blow-out win for Barack Obama tomorrow. That we can finally wake from the 8-year nightmare that has been the Bush/Cheney Administration. They nearly destroyed the world.
One bit of news that brought tears to my eyes today: Barack's grandmother "Toot" died today - one god damned day before knowing that her beloved grandson was elected President of the United States of America. May she rest in peace, have God's ear, and be helping from heaven.
